Yasmin’s book The Saffron Kitchen gives a brilliant insight into Khomeini’s Iran and the consequences for Iranians in exile. Yasmin was first published in English by Little, Brown, and then in twenty languages. The Saffron Kitchen sold 50,000 hardbacks in Italy.
