Jonathan Gathorne-Hardy has worked as an advertising copywriter, reviewer and bookseller while writing novels for children and adults.
The success of a non-fiction book, THE RISE AND FALL OF THE BRITISH NANNY allowed him to write full-time and he has since published numerous novels, children’s books and biographies. His biography of the American sexologist Alfred Kinsey, was made into a film starring Liam Neeson.
Jonathan Gathorne-Hardy is married to the artist Nicky Loutit and lives in a village in Norfolk.
