This title was the third of the original Pugwash series.  It was published by The Bodley Head as a full colour and black & white illustrated picture book in 1962 and reprinted in 1980 and 1992.  It will be republished by Frances Lincoln in November 2007.

The famous Black Pig; home to Captain Pugwash and his crew is in desperate need of a spring clean. But what begins as a simple exercise in painting and decorating soon leads to a plot so dastardly that the captain looks as if his days are finally up.
