Tom Seymour Evans is a writer of fiction and non-fiction. He has been shortlisted for the Anthony Burgess/ Observer Prize for arts journalism, and his proposal for a collective biography, THE CANYONS, won the 2019 Tony Lothian Prize, whose judges described it as a ‘thrilling story of sexual and political dissent’. His writing has appeared in the Times Literary Supplement and elsewhere.
His first book is about militarised environments, and is forthcoming from The Bodley Head. He is also working on a novel.
