N V (Nicky) Peacock started her writing career with supernatural YA novellas and horror short stories for anthologies published across globe. With a love of true crime podcasts and a morbid fascination with serial killers, it was only a matter of time until she gravitated towards writing dark and twisty thrillers. Living in Northamptonshire, Nicky has a degree in creative writing, runs a local writers’ group and volunteers at libraries to inspire and motivate teen writers.

Nicky’s debut thriller Little Bones was published by Avon in December 2020. Described as ‘an exciting new voice in thriller fiction’ (Sarah Pinborough), Nicky quickly became a Tesco bestseller. Her second novel, The Brother, was published by Hera Books in July 2023.
