Eleanor Lavender
Eleanor is an illustrator, author and designer living in London. Her first degree in Fine Art followed by an MA in Interactive Media led to a fun career designing interactive experiences for museums around the world. In 2018 she enrolled on the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art to return to her first loves: drawing, painting, and creating stories.
In her illustration practice, Eleanor enjoys experimenting with materials, be it gouache, monoprint, charcoal or watercolour; always hoping to find just the right combination to capture the essence of a place or the emotion of a character. She loves to make stories with a hint of humour and a dash of the unexpected.
Eleanor was named as a winner in the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition 2022.
