Having secured a first-class honours degree in Classical Literature and Civilisation at the University of Birmingham, Rosie Hewlett has studied Greek mythology in depth and is passionate about reclaiming the strong female voices lost within these fantastical stories.
During the 2020 lockdown when our world stood still, Rosie escaped into the world of myth and wrote her debut novel, Medusa, which went on to win the Rubery Book of the Year Award 2021. Rosie’s second novel, Medea, will be published in March 2024. She lives in Kent with her partner and two very spoiled cats.
