Fred Foster is the founder of Turnips, a fruit and veg wholesale and retail company that has been supplying restaurants around the UK for more than 30 years with quality seasonal produce, and a core fixture at Borough Market, where the beloved Turnips stall caters to the market’s 4.5 million yearly visitors. In 2020, Fred opened Turnips with Tomas Lidakevicius which has 4.8 stars on Open Table and the seal of approval from renowned food critic, Jay Rayner.
