We’re so excited that the brand-new live action adaptation of Cressida Cowell’s magnificent How to Train Your Dragon is now screening in cinemas worldwide.

Starring Mason Thames as Hiccup, Nico Parker as Astrid, Gerard Butler as Chief Stoick the Vast and Nick Frost as Gobber, the new live action film allows fans of the franchise to return to the isle of Berk where a remarkable friendship between Hiccup, the curious son of Chief Stoick the Vast, and Toothless, a once-feared Night Fury, turns everything the Vikings thought they knew about dragons on its head. As an ancient menace rises, threatening the fragile peace between humans and dragons, young Hiccup must navigate a world gripped by fear. The three-time Oscar nominee Dean DuBlois has returned to direct the adaptation, and the film is produced by DreamWorks Animation and Marc Platt Productions. Since its opening night, the live action reimagining of How to Train Your Dragon has become the series-best box office hit with a gross of $198 million globally.
