Allie Reynolds was born and raised in Lincoln, England. Her very first job was a Saturday job in a bookstore. In her twenties she competed at snowboard halfpipe and was once in the UK top ten. She has lived in France, Switzerland, Canada, Austria and Brazil. After she retired from snowboarding she trained as a primary school teacher and worked in Central London.
She moved to Gold Coast Australia in 2005 where she taught ESL for many years and did freelance writing on the side. Her short fiction has been published in women’s magazines in the UK, Australia, Sweden and South Africa.
Her debut thriller Shiver sold in the UK in a ten-publisher auction. It was published by Headline Books in 2021 and went on to be translated into 23 languages. Her second thriller The Bay (titled The Swell in North America) has been published in 9 territories to date.
Allie lives near the beach with her two children and is currently editing her latest thriller.
