Ruth Maclean-Jones completed the Prose Fiction MA at UEA in 2025. Prior to that, she spent a decade working in government and technology, primarily as a product manager in cloud and consumer software. Her short fiction has appeared in publications including Dear Damsels, and her story ‘Leave No Trace’ was recently long-listed for the Scratch Press Summer Showcase.  Ruth is currently completing her first novel, Catherine’s Wheel: a literary novel that reimagines the English pastoral in the age of abundant intelligence.
