MICHELLE LIPTON has written more than 50 hours of broadcast television and has been on the writing teams for Casualty, Holby City, Hollyoaks, Doctors, Rockets Island, Father Brown, and Sister Boniface. Her BAFTA-winning stint as Casualty’s Lead Writer saw her responsible for several high-profile episodes including the critically acclaimed, ‘Switzerland’ exploring assisted dying, and Derek Thompson’s final episodes as Charlie Fairhead. She is currently writing the Casualty 40th Anniversary Celebration special. Michelle is also an award-winning radio writer with 15 radio drama credits under her belt, including five episodes of Amelia Bullmore’s crime drama ‘Craven’ starring Maxine Peake and Jack Deam. She has developed original drama series for BBC Studios, Island Pictures, Leopard, Hat Trick, Red Productions and CBBC.
