Aimée is a writer and poet from Edinburgh. She is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and the Faber Academy. Her first novel, The Last Witch on the Knock, fuses poetry and prose to tell the story of two women – Kate, a servant to a local Laird in 1715, and Thomasin, a maladaptive university student in the present day – inextricably connected to each other by the strange Highland town they live in. Currently, Aimée lives in Durham, where she is pursuing a Master’s in English Literature. Her interests include folklore and local mythologies, medical humanities, women writing in the digital age and all things grotesque and liminal.
