Sara Langham Clare Israel Zara Petranova

Aimée is a writer and poet from Edinburgh. She is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and the Faber Academy. Her first novel, The Last Witch on the Knock, fuses poetry and prose to tell the story of two women – Kate, a servant to a local Laird in 1715, and Thomasin, a maladaptive university student in the present day – inextricably connected to each other by the strange Highland town they live in. Currently, Aimée lives in Durham, where she is pursuing a Master’s in English Literature. Her interests include folklore and local mythologies, medical humanities, women writing in the digital age and all things grotesque and liminal. John Murray will be publishing The Last Witch on the Knock in March 2026.
