Ashley Leon is a debut novelist whose book centres around a young woman travelling the world. Her epic journey delves into the complexities of coming into womanhood while trying to understand and navigate the distortion of our twenties.

Born in London and raised in the United States, Ashley’s work also explores the dual identities of the African-American, Caribbean-British, and African-British experience. Ashley now lives in Germany, where she will be researching her interest in the ‘Afro-German’ identity as a PhD thesis at Royal Holloway University of London.
