Ashley W. Leon, born in 1997, is a Jamaican-British writer raised partly between Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania, and London. She holds a PhD in English from Royal Holloway, University of London, where she also worked as a visiting lecturer.

Ashley’s work celebrates the intricate lives of women and the power of female friendships.

She won a place in the 2020 DHA Open Day competition and served as a guest judge for the 2021 Aesthetica Creative Writing Award.

When she’s not writing, Ashley can be found adventuring abroad with her loved ones, running creative writing workshops, and adding yet another song to her eclectic playlist.
