Charlotte Lobdell grew up just outside San Francisco, where she organized the children’s section at her mom’s bookstore and filmed soapy dramas starring her dolls. She holds a BFA in Film & Television Production from the University of Southern California, edited content at Snapchat, and worked in the writers’ rooms on Hulu’s Dollface and Amazon’s YA reboot of Cruel Intentions.
Her television pilot about the runaway teenage girls in 1910s Los Angeles placed second in Script Pipeline’s annual screenplay competition and was a top-eight script at Slamdance. She also narrates audiobooks and was selected for fellowships with Macmillan Audio and Penguin Random House. She lives in Silver Lake, Los Angeles or somewhere on the Fortnite map.
