Cindy Yu
Cindy Yu is assistant editor at the Spectator magazine, where she writes on Chinese society, politics and history, and hosts the acclaimed fortnightly podcast Chinese Whispers. She has also written for Foreign Policy and the Daily Telegraph. Born in Nanjing, she speaks and reads Mandarin fluently, and retains family and social connections in China.
Cindy is now working on her first book, on the history of the PRC and its demography.
