Daniel Hewitt is Investigations Editor for ITV News, and an award-winning broadcaster, presenter and documentary-maker. His work on housing has won many plaudits, gaining Dan the Royal Television Specialist Journalist of the Year award, and led to questions being raised in the House of Commons. He has twice been nominated for the Orwell Prize.
Dan is now working on his first book, also on the housing crisis. Left to Rot will be published by Policy Press in 2026.
