Eleanor Morgan is a psychotherapist and writer. She works in private practice and in the charity sector.

She is the author of two non-fiction books: Anxiety for Beginners (A Personal Investigation), published by Bluebird (2016) and Hormonal: A Conversation About Women’s Bodies, Mental Health and Why We Need to Be Heard, published by Virago (2019). Both titles have been translated into several different languages.

Her background is in journalism. She has worked as an editor and writer on magazines, broadsheet newspapers and in digital media. She has also worked as a university lecturer in journalism.

She is renowned for her investigative writing on subjects relating to psychology, mental health and what makes people do what they do.
