Harriet Crouzières studied English at Cambridge before becoming a Banking lawyer in the City. She has spent the past decade as a Chief of Staff, including at a creative not-for-profit originated by the Nike Foundation to develop brands for social change. In 2024 she ended that career to write, using her experiences to enrich stories about the darker aspects of capitalism and humanity within it.

Drawn to new experiences, Harriet has visited more than 50 countries. Those adventures include an overland trip through Africa, where she trekked with gorillas and skydived over the desert. Her most terrifying moment whilst travelling remains on a solo road trip across the USA, when she awoke to find a chipmunk in her tent. She is currently based in London.

Harriet is currently editing her debut novel, The Disassociated. Set among ticking clocks and labyrinthian corridors, it follows three corporate lawyers: one seeking revenge against another, and a third caught in the crossfire when she’s in the sex tape that goes viral. Appealing to fans of TV shows Severance and Industry, this claustrophobic thriller is a sharply-observed portrayal of a broken system and its exploitation by those trapped within it. Her second novel is underway.
