Kate is a writer of long-form and short fiction. From West Cork, Ireland, she now lives and works in Oxfordshire. Her short fiction has been longlisted for the Bath Short Story Award and her debut novel, A GOOD HOUSE FOR CHILDREN (Serpents Tail, UK, Mariner, US) was published in 2023 and longlisted for the Author’s Club Best First Novel Award 2024. Her new novel SAINT DEATH will be published by Dead Ink Books in Spring 2027.
