Marni Appleton is a writer living in London. She holds a PhD in creative-critical writing from the University of East Anglia. Her research considers feminism and the politics of feeling in contemporary women’s short stories. Marni’s writing has been published in literary and academic journals including Banshee, The Tangerine, Contemporary Women’s Writing and Comparative American Studies, and has been exhibited at BOXPARK in Shoreditch. Her debut short story collection I HOPE YOU’RE HAPPY will be published by The Indigo Press in February 2025.
