Mary Hannity
Mary Hannity grew up in Manchester and now lives in London. Mary is a Contributor to the London Review of Books and has a PhD in Literature from UCL. Mary is a clinical trainee in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Tavistock NHS clinic and has worked in the human rights sector supporting survivors of torture and trafficking, including helping establish a therapy support group for asylum-seeking mothers and their children. Mary is at work on her first book, a history of childhood from 1900.
