Meghan Newman is a Canadian writer living in London, where she explores themes of queerness, heartache, religion, sex, belonging, and self-discovery, sometimes all before lunch. She’s currently working on her debut novel, The Naked Neighbour Theory. Outside of writing, she enjoys long walks, wines with funk, solo dance parties, emotionally devastating novels, and maintaining hair that behaves about as well as she does.
The Naked Neighbour Theory, the queer murder mystery you didn’t know you needed, evokes the suburban suspicion of The Lovely Bones and the darkly humorous, cinematic writing of Emma Cline and Gillian Flynn, with a healthy dose of sapphic love and Catholic guilt thrown in for good measure.
