Nicola Sturgeon served as First Minister of Scotland and Leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) from 2014 to 2023. She was the first woman to become First Minister and is the longest-serving FM to date.
Sturgeon is MSP for the Glasgow Southside constituency, and has served in the Scottish Parliament since 1999.
Her remarkable memoir, Frankly, was published in summer 2025 by Macmillan, and became an instant top 10 bestseller.
