Tom Roberts is an author, researcher and historian. He holds Master’s degrees from the universities of Westminster and Cambridge and a Ph.D. in Modern History from Macquarie University. His books include Before Rupert, winner of the 2017 National Biography Award, and How Trump Thinks, co-written with Peter Oborne.
In 2024 he published a biography of the trans pioneer April Ashley, co-written with Jacqueline Kent. Bonjour, Mademoiselle! was published by Scribe.
Tom now has a new project under way, a literary true-crime book set in 1930s Oxford. Death in a Haystack will be published by Headline Press.
