Tristan Hughes was born in Atikokan, Canada and brought up around Llangoed, Ynys Mon where he currently lives.
He completed a PhD thesis on Pacific and American literature from King’s College, Cambridge and won the Rhys Davies Short Story Award.
Tristan has published six novels and his fourth, Hummingbird, was published in autumn 2017 by Parthian. His latest novel, Boundary Waters, will be published by Parthian in May 2025.
