When his father dies, Luke feels he has lost everything that made his life worthwhile. Even his music doesn’t seem so important any more without his dad to inspire him, and in his efforts to overcome his feelings of anger and loss he has fallen into bad company.
When the gang tell him to break into a house in the village, he has to go along with it – or face the consequences. But inside the house he finds a secret that will plunge him even deeper into trouble, at home, at school, and with the gang; a secret that will haunt him day and night – and throw him into terrible danger. From this moment on, nothing will ever be the same again.
