Birmingham Hippodrome announces Gerard Foster’s new musical, No Such Thing As Wolves

Gerard Foster‘s new musical for children, co-written with Horrible Histories composer Richie Webb, has been announced as the Birmingham Hippodrome’s next Christmas show. No Such Thing As Wolves will play at Birmingham Hippodrome’s Patrick Studio Saturday 6 December 2025 – Sunday 4 January 2026. Tickets are on sale to Friends of Birmingham Hippodrome Thursday 3 April at 11am and on general sale Monday 7 April at 11am.

Created for everyone aged three and over, No Such Thing as Wolves follows the story of Hettie Hedgehog, who is ready to hibernate – until her new friend, Sydney Squirrel, convinces her to throw a party instead. But when two mysterious guests arrive with great big ears and pointy teeth, things get paws-itively wild.

Reviews are in for the National Theatre’s revival of Alterations featuring additional material by Trish Cooke

The revival of Michael Abbensetts’ delightful and insightful comedy, Alterations, featuring additional material by Trish Cooke, has now begun its run at the National Theatre. Following the press night on 27 February 2025, reviews have started to flood in and they couldn’t be more positive.

The Telegraph calls it a ‘revelatory work‘, London Theatre hails it as ‘glorious‘ and The Standard concludes ‘Cooke and Linton don’t just revive this finely tailored play. They make it burst at its seams.’
