We are very proud of the outstanding children’s authors and illustrators we have cultivated at DHA over the past decades and to this day. We have represented almost half of all UK Children’s Laureates to date, as well as the authors of multiple UK, US and international bestselling and award-winning titles, and our clients continue to play a vital role in the children’s publishing landscape. Our translation team has brought their stories to scores of countries around the globe, and many clients have enjoyed successful film and TV adaptations thanks to our in-house team’s efforts.

We are always drawn to authentic, heartfelt and impactful writing and illustration and, alongside our established names, we’re on the lookout for brilliant new talent to add to our roster. We cover all formats and age groups for children and young adults, including but not limited to poetry, board books, non-fiction and graphic novels, and encourage submissions from any and all backgrounds. Our aim is always to build authors’ and illustrators’ careers from the ground up and accompany them professionally and creatively at every stage.
