I graduated from the University of Kent with BA in English, American and Postcolonial Literatures and Film in 2018 and an MA in English Literature in 2019. I went on to work in publishing, first in editorial and marketing roles at John Murray Press and as a Scouting Assistant at Mira Trenchard Literary Scouting.

I have a soft spot for tender romances (I can quote almost every line of When Harry Met Sally) and speculative fiction. Among my favourite contemporary filmmakers are Barry Jenkins, Steve McQueen, Paul Thomas Anderson, Denis Villeneuve, Asghar Farhadi, Mati Diop, and Garrett Bradley. In TV, I love The Wire, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Americans, Better Call Saul, Community, Arrested Development, Peep Show, Fresh Meat, Atlanta, The Good Place, Lovesick, Catastrophe, Succession, and Industry.
