Clare Israel

Lizzie Ennever is an exceptional children’s television writer whose numerous and varied animation credits include Poppy Cat, Mike the Knight, and the BAFTA nominated Postman Pat. She has recently written on BBC Children’s new series of JoJo and Gran Gran as well as completed a 13-episode commission for Dreamworks Animation. She has also written for EOne’s Ricky Zoom and was recently further commissioned by Dreamworks Animation to adapt and lead-write an animated pre-school series based on a much loved book.

In Lizzie’s words:

I like writing for sweet characters who use humour and ingenuity to navigate tricky situations. I want all children to feel seen and be able to relate to what they see on screen – regardless of neurotype, race, gender or social background. I am passionate about inclusivity and making children laugh whilst they subconsciously learn how to be kind and compassionate members of their communities.
