Sue worked as an editor in publishing for several years, and then at the BBC before turning to writing full-time. She is a Sunday Times bestselling author under the pen name Lucy Diamond, and has written twelve novels for Pan Macmillan, the fourth of which, Sweet Temptation, was shortlisted for the Melissa Nathan Award. She also writes children’s books.

As well as writing books, Sue is moving into scriptwriting and is currently developing projects for TV.
