Slow Horses, the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ espionage series, premiered its fourth season yesterday to much anticipation. Based on the best-selling Slough House novels by our client Mick Herron, the show continues to follow the misfit spies of MI5’s Slough House, led by the brilliantly caustic Jackson Lamb, played by Gary Oldman.

Season 4 arrives on the heels of the show’s impressive recognition ahead of the 2024 Emmys, where it has received nine nominations, solidifying its place as one of television’s top drama series. The Times has described the fourth season’s opening episodes as “not far short of perfect”, while The Guardian has described the cast as “even more stellar” and the directing as “faultless”.

The 2024 Primetime Emmy awards ceremony is on the 16th of September.
