Slow Horses, the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ espionage series, has officially been renewed for a sixth season. Based on our client Mick Herron’s best-selling Slough House novels, the series continues to follow the gritty exploits of MI5’s outcast spies, led by the irascible Jackson Lamb, portrayed by Gary Oldman.
The renewal comes on the heels of the show’s explosive fourth season and its remarkable recognition in awards circuits, having secured BAFTA nominations for both Oldman and Jack Lowden, as well as winning a Primetime Emmy for writer Will Smith. The ensemble cast, including Jonathan Pryce, Hugo Weaving, and Joanna Scanlan, continues to garner praise for its powerful performances.
Season 6 will adapt Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh books in Herron’s series, as the Slough House team becomes ensnared in a deadly game of revenge orchestrated by Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas).
