Mariam is the Children’s Translation Rights Executive at David Higham Associates. She is a graduate of The University of Essex and SOAS, University of London. Mariam  joined DHA in 2024, after working on the rights team at Peters, Fraser & Dunlop.

She handles rights in the Arab World, Albania, Brazil, China, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Spanish Latin America, Taiwan, Ukraine and Vietnam.

Mariam also handles rights for the Roald Dahl Estate in Arabic, Albania, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Ukraine, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Czechia, Slovakia and Romania.
